Medicinal cannabis is becoming more accepted throughout the USA and is even starting to be looked at seriously in Europe. But Certain subjects remain extremely controversial such as the use of cannabis and its extracts on children.
In this video documentary, VICE follows the story of Mykayla Comstock, an eight-year-old diagnosed with intermediate risk T-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on July 14th, 2012, at 7 years old. As Oregon’s youngest Medical Cannabis Patient, she started consuming a daily gram of cannabis oil, encapsulated in a pill, since shortly after her diagnosis. Amazingly, the leukemia quickly went into remission, and in the months that followed she was able to cope with the debilitating symptoms associated with her traditional cancer treatments.
A Facebook page has also been established to show her support. You can find it here. => https://www.facebook.com/BraveMyKayla
