Songkran is the Thai New Year, and all of Thailand breaks out into a massive "water fight" a heck of a lot or fun, everyone gets drenched, then paisted with "flour bombs". This wild fun event happens every year between April 13 to the 20th, depending on the area, Pattaya is around the 17th to 19th. (I think, check to be sure) Don't miss it! A must see, and if there, you HAVE to join in, you have no choise. Put the cell phone into a condom, or it will be destroyed :-)
