(NaturalNews) Angelina Jolie's bizarre announcement that she had both of her healthy breasts surgically removed to "prevent" cancer has turned into a PR nightmare. Not only has Natural News revealed the hidden agenda of corporations patenting and owning human genetic code so they can reap trillions in profits from genetic slavery, now a New Jersey kindergarten teacher is blasting Angelina Jolie for promoting an elitist procedure only affordable to the ultra-wealthy.

"That's good for her; she's got the best health care and she's got money. She doesn't have to worry about taking off of work. She doesn't have to worry about taking care of her family, cooking or cleaning -- the things that the normal woman would have to do," said Debbie Gentile-Abbood in a NY Post article.

Gentile-Abbood went on to explain that normal working moms don't have the huge wealth that Jolie will obviously use to undergo top-notch reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. Nor do everyday working moms have the ability to just take off a couple of months from work to undergo the procedures. While Jolie can spend millions of dollars to get her breasts worked on and re-shaped to be fit for the big screen, everyday working moms don't have millions of dollars lying around to spend on their breasts.

She also tears into Angelina Jolie's fear mongering campaign that has already frightened countless women into thinking their own breasts might kill them. "What am I supposed to do? Sit around every day and worry that I'm going to get cancer?"
Angelina Jolie's elitist attitude offending women everywhere
Look at the Facebook comments on some of the recent articles Natural News has posted about Angelina Jolie and you'll find a common thread: Women are deeply offended by the idea that they should cut off their perfectly healthy breasts as some sort of bizarre medical self-mutilation ritual to "prevent" a disease they don't even have.

For starters, the mutilation of women by cutting out their breasts strikes hard at the female identity. Breasts help give nourishment to newborn babies, and they carry lymph nodes that are an integral part of the immune system. Surgically removing breasts leaves scar tissue, numbness and pain. While this might arguably be acceptable if aggressive cancer is diagnosed to already exist in the breast tissue (although even then, there are better options that don't harm the patient), it seems bizarre and even insane to remove healthy breasts that have no sign of disease.

If Jolie's P.R. stunt -- simultaneously synchronized with People Magazine and TIME Magazine -- was designed to try to convince everyday women that they all need to have their genes tested and their breasts removed, then it has failed miserably. If anything, it has raised more questions about the true motivations of the for-profit cancer industry and the way in which corporations claim monopoly ownership over human genes (BRCA1 and BRCA2). It has also called into question Jolie's state of mind.

As Natural News has already reported, private corporations and universities already claim ownership over 20% of women's genes, and that number will continue to increase if the practice is not halted by the U.S. Supreme Court. A key decision is expected in June.

Natural News has publicly challenged Angelina Jolie to denounce corporate patents on human genes, but she has so far refused to do so. Jolie's publicity of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes has already begun motivating men to have their prostate glands surgically removed even though they have no prostate cancer.

There are a lot of reasons why she shouldn't have done it....not doing it because not everyone can afford to is not one of those reasons...that is a stupid and selfish argument. If doing it was an otherwise effective and beneficial move for her health others should not expect her to not do it because they are jealous they can not afford it. It was not a good move for her health, but that is another issue entirely.

I think the point was more accurately that only rich women can afford the expensive reconstruction after the mutilation. Ms. Jolie, with all her money, will be redone to still look normal, while everyone else will just look---well, mutilated. It is only one portion of Jolie's argument that is a total red herring, and I think that is what the woman was trying to articulate.

No, there are multiple ways to kill cancer cells without euthanasia. Everyone has cancer cells develop almost on a daily basis, but the body kills them, if the immune system is strong enough to do so.

IS Debbie Gentile-Abbood a moron? Would other women really copy this drastic and mentally disturbed move? Cancer finds many ways to manifest so cutting up one's body is no guarrantee of avoiding it....Angelina is just as likely to die from lack of nutrient....I question her motives when I see recent mal-nourished shots of her...maybe she just wanted some different ones...lol.

Julie: Thanks for confirming my thoughts. Yes, Debbie Gentile-Abbood is certainly a moron and a jealous individual. Of all the things this woman could complain about like . . . lack of funds for her kindergartners, she's jealous that "regular" women not having enough cash or insurance to do what this woman did. If Jolie cuts her stomach to prevent obesity which leads to diabetes will this lady want the same insurance to do the same? Insane.

I really don't think she is jealous, just terrified and feeling powerless because she believes the lies being taught her.

I think her point about money and time is another aspect of the whole story though. IF this was a responsible coarse of action for those with the gene mutation (which of course any normal person knows it is not) it would not be something that 99% of the women with the mutation could do if they wanted to, based not just on price, but on the inability to take time off work. So why would the rich woman run out and tell all those women to do something they could never do, and by doing so increase their stress and fear. She could have just done what she chose and kept her mouth shut about it.

Of course that wouldn't sell all these gene tests at 3000 to 4000 a pop. I am sure her bringing "attention" to this is a way for the testers to try and pressure insurance to cover these crazy tests and maybe to eventually cover the insane surgery just in time for Obamacare. It is easy to imagine a few years down the road women being required to be tested, and being required to remove their breasts if they have the mutation, and not being offered the reconstruction of their breasts unless they pay out of pocket for that part.

All that being said, so many woman supporting Angelina's position in comments and posts who would do the same to themselves, is the scariest thing of all...

There are much more effective ways to cut your risk of cancer by 90% and more, and they don't involve cutting body parts. Proper nutrition, avoiding processed foods, getting Vitamin D, cutting out sugar, staying away from certain drugs, proper exercise, and more. Each one of those factors cuts your risk by roughly 50%, so that if you do several, your risk is lowered by 90% or more. Why are people so stupid? Well, I think Angelina might be stupid, or else mind-controlled, and the cancer industry is having a ball right now.

Christine, I also agree with you plus there are alternative medicines that help to rid the body of cancer. Cancer is a wake up call to those who diagnosed with it. They have to change - thoughts, behaviors, attitudes and lifestyles. I do not agree with what Jolie did, but I am not walking in her shoes.

I do not like this backlash from every day women about Jolie. I think it's ridiculous. She was just trying to inform other women just like Congress Woman Debbie Washerman Shultz did when she had the same procedure. My goodness, it's like a post I shared other day: No matter what you do Whether it's something good or bad, people will get mad at you. My insurance doesn't cover the gene test but does cover the procedure & reconstructive surgery, I realize how fortunate I am for this as many are not.

Suggest to remove the whole Reproductive System because removing the breast alone won't spare Angelina from Cancer of the reproductive System. Additionally, the secondary sex characteristics partially regulated by the reproductive system. Her surgery does not solve the problem, much better binding that problematic oxidized estrogen with natural remedies and save her boobs.

So basicly what these morons who blast Angie for what she did are saying is that even though she is high risk she shouldn't have had the surgery because not everyone has the resources to have it done, yeah that makes sense.......NOT. Now, someone made a comment that Angie went public with it and using her influence; that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard and obviousy many people have no clue about what one must do as a celebrity. Did it not occur to anyone, that Angie may have went public with this because the tabloid backlash would be much worse? Everything they do is in the spotlight so I imagine she made it public for it to be said and done though she probably had no idea that it would be the public drawing their own conclusions and judging her and not nosey reporters, paparazzis, etc. Bottom line, anyone with common sense ( which apparently they are in short supply these days) can see she did this to improve her quality of life, while we are on the subject of life, maybe you all should get one.

Its that using rich people to promote what everyday normal people should do is wrong, That we should all strive to be like the elite is wrong, and our over-priced and corrupt health care system is wrong. Unnecessary mutilation and drug pushing for profit with no desire to treat the problem only cover the symptoms. And that's why I think this kind of attention is important. People believe that vaccinations and pills are actually good things because they believe what theyre told. The USDA and FDA are just examples of lying to and killing people to make a profit yet people believe their lies. Its a sad state of affairs.

Neither this article for the opinions of Debbie Gentile-Abbood speak for my opinion. Firstly, Angelina Jolie's opinions and finances do not affect my life. I can confidently say that I have spent absolutely no time thinking about her breasts and what she chooses to do with them. Secondly, I am a married work from home professional with no children. I do not feel abnormal or inadequate, and I don't feel a need to apologize for the way I choose to live.

well if this world would start leaning towards Christ and believe His Word that we are healed by His stripes, then there would be no cancer, no pharmaceutical companies, no hospitals and no sickness. I believe and i'm healed of migraines, sinus problems, asthma, depression, lust, drinking, drugs, just to name a few. God is the healer. not man and God is in control. a simple solution like baking soda can cure cancer. i was raised taking a bit of soda and water for indigestion and i'm 61 yrs old. i got a head start on curing cancer in MY lifetime. red clover blossom, pau d arco, goldenseal, are the hardcore medicinal herbs that cures cancer. the doctors know this. the drug companies know this. the fda is trying to make using these herbs for medicinal reasons, illegal. look out! buying vitamin c is gonna b against the law. it's all satan's plan to distract this world from staying focused on the truth. his time is short and he wants to take as many people to hell w/him as he can. i'm no fanatic but I am a believer. I pray for this world to come back to its roots and love the Lord as He loves you. then watch all this evilness and hatefulness and unrighteousness disappear. i'm so tired of seeing signs saying GOD BLESS AMERICA. when it should read AMERICA BLESS GOD! praise God and thank You Jesus!

Why do people care what another person does with their body? Famous or not? Rich or poor? Why is this anyone's business? Even if she puts the story out there and makes it everyone's business, like most celebrities tend to do whether that's their intention or not, why do people make such a big stink about it? There are bigger problems that we need to face. Bigger problems than what one woman decides to do with her boobs.

I would suggest that Angelina Jolie has been brainwashed! No woman in her right mind would have their breasts removed unless it was a true danger to their current health. I just can't understand the thinking.....a small chance of breast cancer due to a so called defective gene....there's probably a bigger chance of having a car accident but that doesn't stop anyone driving.

I think it's awful that women are treating her like that. Who cares? Regular women also can't afford to adopt a bunch of kids or have really, really nice stuff... But guess what? It's her right. It's her money. It's her health and her body.. Who is anyone to criticize her for that? Just because someone else can't afford the same preventative measures, they think she shouldn't be able to give herself peace of mind? That's terribly ignorant.

Hoo boy! Think of all the parts that can be surgically removed to prevent something that might - just might interfere with our lifestyles. Perhaps frontal lobotomies will stop us thinking which may be the cheapest option. Just be careful with the disposal, one may be getting ones own back at a fast food purveyor.

I guess it is her choice, one made easier because she can afford to have her breasts reconstructed, what irks me is she is a very public figure and some women will copy her actions. Personally I would not do it unless it was the last resort. One has to wonder what kind of professional advice she was receiving and why she took it..

Hang on.

There seems to be a logical flaw in your theory Natural News. Angelina Jolie IS against gene patenting surely. Jolie - "It has got to be a priority to ensure that more woman can access gene testing and lifesaving, preventative treatment, whatever their means and background, wherever they live." If more companies are able to offer the test, then of course the price will go down, but only an invalidation of the patent law will allow other companies to offer the test.

http://www.walletpop.ca/blog/2013/05/16 ... man-genes/

No doubt she's part of an agenda to get women to mutilate themselves but the way that can happen is if the procedure becomes more widely available and the patenting disallowed.

However..

I guess there is the possibility or even liklihood that myriad retains patenting but drops prices along with a mandatory Obamacare premium to cover it and thus makes more money, gets women to mutilate themselves and taxes the public all at once.

She is free to make her own decisions, she is a big girl even though I think she took the "less educated" route. If the press would stop trying to sell the double mastectomy as the best choice for all women with the same gene. You will always have the naive star struck groupies that follow the celebrities. Luckily, I am raising my kids to steer clear of the likes of them.
