"Ed's Note: Check out the best reply I could find, at the very bottom of this page.

Dicks reply: "Highly controversial! Carnivores are ENRAGED! Why do carnivores hate vegetarians so much? I think it's because Vegetarians are doing what carnivores would like to think cannot be done, and most are doing it very well too, living longer more happy and healthy lives.

Perhaps even carnivores would like to eat Vegetarians? Well it is the nature of the "beast" isn't it?

It's not easy to give up eating meat, it's incredibly addictive. I think that hits another raw nerve with carnivores, because every human being on Earth has the capacity to see, deep inside their soul, that the killing and eating of animals is wrong. But they are so addicted to what they claim is the delicious taste of meat, most will never be strong enough to give up that addiction. Meat essentially only has only one taste, carnivores eat the same meat taste every day, but to them it's delicious because they are addicted to the adrenaline and other harmful chemicals found in meat.

Long practising Vegetarians find meat absolutely disgusting, the look, the smell of it cooking, and the vile juices dripping on the checkout counters in the supermarkets and most of all, the way it makes people act. Pumped up on "Fight or Flight" response from the adrenaline.

I believe the outrage from carnivores over this line of thought is disproportionate. They can criticise it all they like, but if this viewpoint, based on profound Ancient Wisdom, is silenced, the world will NEVER advance into the great civilisation it so truly deserves to be.

My only advise to carnivores is "Don't knock it until you've tried it".... Many westerner vegetarians were raised as carnivores, myself included.

I've walked both paths and all I can say is you will NEVER know until you try it. You will NEVER know until after at least 11 years on a strict vegetarian diet, when all of your old cells have died off and replaced themselves.

I believe if we wipe out the vegetarian line of thought, we wipe out all hope of becoming a truly advanced civilisation."

Non-vegetarians beware! “Your food causes you to easily cheat, tell lies, forget promises, be dishonest, steal and commit sex crimes”, according to a Class VI book titled ‘New Healthway: Health, Hygiene, Physiology, Safety, Sex Education, Games and Exercises’ brought out by S. Chand publishers who print textbooks for several hundred schools in the country.
That is not all. The book (on page 56) further says “it is the waste products which largely produce the flavour of meat”.
While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has washed its hands of the book and the issue, its chief Vineet Joshi has said: “This is not a Board recommended book. Schools are allowed to select their own text books according to the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) syllabus till Class VIII. We are looking into this matter.”
Union Minister for Human Resource Development M.M. Pallam Raju called the text in the book “unfortunate and an occasional aberration”.
“Sensitivities of communities have to be kept in mind. Also State bodies have to stay alert about the content of the text books which reaches several children across the country,” he noted.
Advocating ‘clean/pure food’ and stating that they believe in the ancient Indian philosophy which says that you are what you eat and your food shapes the way you think and consequently impact your behaviour, Tihar Jail spokesperson Sunil Gupta said: “We serve only vegetarian food to the inmates as we believe that non-vegetarian food does have a negative impact on the psyche of the individual.”
He added: “As a matter of fact, the practice was challenged by a group of prisoners from other countries who described the food provided to them as unpalatable. The reason, they argued, was that they were not used to vegetarian food. We, on the other hand, told the court that this was offensive to our eating habits and that no specific arrangements are made for Indian (vegetarian) prisoners incarcerated in other countries. The court rejected their appeal. At Tihar Jail the food provided to prisoners is as per a diet plan approved by a dietician and has a mix of cereals and vegetables.”
Seconding the belief that non-vegetarian food produces two very strong negative reactions “anger/fear”, socio-spiritual educational institution Brahma Kumaris national co-ordinator B.K. Sushant said: “We believe that killing an animal releases toxic hormones and that gets into human beings, which further creates a negative impact on his moral, mental and physical well being.”

"Ed's Note: Below is one of the best reply I could find after spending an hour reading 100's of Mainstream Multinational owned Media news reports aggressively slamming the above article, plus many blogs from mindless sheep, all saying the exact same things and highly condemning the above line of thought. I was amazed to see how angry and aggressive the carnivores became after reading that article, and how many "anti" replies appeared. If you want to read all of the negative comments they're easy to find on the internet. I've only included what I think is the best reply. I believe if they succeed in condemning and wiping out this line of thought, based on profound ancient wisdom, we wipe out all hope of becoming a truly advanced civilisation."

Hare Krsna,
Sorry for the delay in replying. His divine grace, A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, has mentioned in several books the dangers associated with meat-eating. So it is logical that non-vegetarians will have many defects resulting from consequence of meat eating. Regarding the tastiness of meat, that is very subjective since most vegetarians do not like the taste of meat.

From Srimad Bhagavatam, 3rd Canto:
"In a demoniac society, innocent animals are killed to satisfy the tongue, and women are tortured by unnecessary
sexual indulgence. Where there are women and meat, there must be liquor and sex indulgence."
"A human being is not to eat anything which is not offered to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Yajna-sistasinah santah: one becomes freed from all sinful reactions by eating foodstuffs which are offered to Yajna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. A devotee therefore eats only prasada, or foodstuffs offered to the Supreme Lord, and Krsna says that when a devotee offers Him foodstuffs from the vegetable kingdom, with devotion, He eats that. A devotee is to offer to Krsna foodstuffs prepared from vegetables."
"The maintenance of slaughterhouses for the satisfaction of the tongue and the killing of animals unnecessarily should never be sanctioned by a government."
"As human society is presently structured, there is sufficient production of grains all over the world.
Therefore the opening of slaughterhouses cannot be supported. In some nations there is so much surplus grain that sometimes extra grain is thrown into the sea, and sometimes the government forbids further
production of grain. The conclusion is that the earth produces sufficient grain to feed the entire population, but the distribution of this grain is restricted due to trade regulations and a desire for profit.
Consequently in some places there is scarcity of grain and in others profuse production. If there were one government on the surface of the earth to handle the distribution of grain, there would be no question of scarcity, no necessity to open slaughterhouses, and no need to present false theories about over-population."
"When animals are killed in a slaughterhouse, six people connected with the killing are responsible for
the murder. The person who gives permission for the killing, the person who kills, the person who helps, the person who purchases the meat, the person who cooks the flesh and the person who eats it, all become entangled in the killing. Narada Muni wanted to draw the King's attention to this fact. Thus animal-killing is not encouraged even in a sacrifice."
"For a human being, agricultural produce, fruits and milk are sufficient and compatible foodstuffs. "
"Sattvika-ahara, foodstuffs in the mode of goodness, are described in the sastras as wheat, rice, vegetables,
fruits, milk, sugar, and milk products. Simple food like rice, dhal, capatis, vegetables, milk and sugar constitute a balanced diet, but sometimes it is found that an initiated person, in the name of prasada, eats very luxurious foodstuffs. Due to his past sinful life he becomes attracted by Cupid and eats good food voraciously."
